If they weren’t self-evident, here’s a bit of an explanation on what each of the buttons mean.
– Funny as hell. These are usually reserved for comics or articles that poke fun at the religious in some harmless way, but may still be offensive to those who believe in a higher power. Get over it.
– Usually the same as sad, but with hatred, like when someone kills an atheist for being atheist, or when a muslim kills a christian or vice versa. Generally speaking, this button is reserved for random acts of religious hatred.
– Reserved for people who do truly stupid things, like when a muslim writes an article on why it’s good to beat women. That’s just one example. There are plenty more. Basically, anything that stems progressive thought or combats equal rights in the name of religion.
– This is similar to “wtf” but with confusion added in. Like when a religion does something I just can’t even understand (usually reserved for scientology. Technically, I think scientology is a cult. I say that mostly because I know they hate it).
– When a science organization publishes articles telling us how sound the science is in evolution, or when a study is released linking religion to violence, it gets a “duh”. Makes sense eh?
– When a Catholic priest goes to jail for a 2nd time for molesting little boys, or when some super conservative, married politician whose main issue is “protecting the family” gets caught in the bathroom having sex with another man (not that there’s anything wrong with homosexuality), It gets a “pwned” tag. These are my favorite, but they don’t get nearly as much action as I’d like. If you don’t know what pwnd or pwned means, look it up.
